Consultant Psychologist
After completing my Masters in Clinical Psychology, I worked on multiple mental health projects with the Tata Institute of Social Sciences. In my role as a Research Assistant, I initially worked on documenting innovative mental health initiatives for women across India. I then helped with developing in-depth counselling protocols for a tele-counselling helpline. These protocols were used to train counsellors as well as considered a review of best practices for specific areas of counselling such as general counselling, academics and career, crisis counselling, interpersonal relationships, sexual and reproductive health, substance abuse, and violence. I also aided in the development of a self-help website for students, aiming to provide support to students dealing with various challenges and improve overall emotional well-being. I was part of a team that worked on multiple research projects documenting the mental health impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. My tasks included working collaboratively on research proposals, creating research tools, data collection, data analysis, and report writing.
